Amy Adele – Founder

Amy launched amyadele.com with her husband in a one room office in November of 2005. She and her husband thought it would be a fun “hobby” to enjoy on the side… but she never imagined so many people would love her designs. After a simple idea in a small room over a garage, the business has moved several times and her husband was able to join the company full-time in 2008. Millions of cards later, she is thrilled to share the opportunity with other artists. Click here to learn more about Amy.

Alison North

Ali graduated from North Carolina State University, School of Design, where she studied fine arts, woodworking, furniture design, fiber studies, and animation. She learned more still through her experiences teaching art at the high school level.
She is the happy wife of one adventurous husband & Mama to two adorably silly kids.
She love seeds sprouting, bright colors, fun music, real #2 pencils, tickle parties with her little ones, key-lime pie, her sketchbook, slivers of moonlight, water-skiing, paintbrushes, baseball, fire-pit evenings with her husband, & the best story ever, the Gospel.

About the name & logo: “When I chose the name Charlotte Vail Designs, I did so not only because I loved the sound of it, but also in honor of my grandmother, Charlotte Vail Smith. She loved all things beautiful, and is on the long list of friends and family who have reminded me the importance of doing what I love. The goose was the trademark of their rustic log cabin in Massachusetts, where nature’s beauty is hard to miss.” – Ali

Whitney Robertson

Artist “Clara Lane” is actually Whitney Robertson, a former loyal staff member at Amy Adele. After moving on from her position at Amy Adele, she was eager to stay “attached” to the company she loved so much. Whitney presented a few “doodles” to owners Amy and Joe, and was given the opportunity to feature some designs on Amy Adele. With her full-time job in the non-profit world keeping her busy, she creates art in her spare time, but loves to contribute when she can. Her artwork is mostly inspired by her daughter, Clara (Lane).
